Monumental mouth blown art glass vase in frosted, ivory-white glass with a soft, lightly textured surface and a simple baluster-shaped silhouette.

Bio:
European studio glass from the 1980s showed a strong interest in pure forms and subtle surface textures. Many glass artists experimented with sandblasting, acid treatment and internal texturing to achieve a soft, almost textile-like character in the glass. Production often took place in small workshops with an emphasis on craftsmanship and artistic individuality.
