Bjarne JEHN is a Danish painter born in Denmark 28 November 1934. - died in France 21 April 2015.
Bjarne has participated in several Danish and Swedish exhibitions in the 50s and 60s. and was then very involved in the political artist environment in Copenhagen at the time.
After 1965 he lived primarily in Sweden and Paris, and around the turn of the millennium he moved with his Greek wife to the small French town of Coaraze in the mountains north of Nice, where he built a large studio and private home.
Bjarne, like many other painters, began very naturalistically in the early 1950s. He develops more and more non-figuratively, until in the mid-60s he joins the new art movement from the USA and Europe "Conceptual Art"
We have been entrusted with a large selection of his works that have never before been for sale.

I have lived in the South of France since 2003, from where I ran my business and participated in exhibitions in Denmark and Sweden.
At the same time, I served as Bruun Rasmussen auctioneers' valuation expert on the South Coast and in Monaco.
I helped build BR's then new venture "vintage" special auctions.
With great expertise in brands such as Hermès, Chanel, Dior, Louis Vuitton, etc., I have now chosen to offer items from these brands on the Danish Market.
